Nathan Watson Short-Listed for 2025 Australian Geographic Nature Photographer

Albany photographer Nathan Watson has been short‑listed in the 2025 Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year competition for his image Synchronised Plovers in the threatened species category. Another shortlisted entry in the monochrome section features an orca off Bremer Bay. Watson said he was honoured to be recognised and to showcase the beauty and vulnerability of wildlife.
