Breaching Humpbacks on Display
The highlight of today was undoubtedly the spectacular breaching behaviour displayed by the humpback whales.
As we set out on our journey, the excitement began almost immediately.
Common dolphins joined us, their playful antics adding to the lively atmosphere.
These dolphins interjected themselves among the fun, darting around the boat and delighting everyone with their acrobatics.
The Stars of the Show
However, the true stars of the afternoon were the humpback whales.
We were incredibly fortunate to witness several breaches from an enthusiastic individual.
The sight of a massive humpback whale propelling itself out of the water and crashing back down is truly awe-inspiring.
The main highlight came when a humpback performed a big breach within just 20 metres of the boat, providing an up-close and personal view of this magnificent behaviour.
