We witnessed five pods in five exciting hours. We explored the orca hotspot and marvelled at nature in the Bremer Canyon.
Killer Whale First Glance
Our first glance revealed a bright orange flash in the distance.
We saw a tiny calf named Neo soaring through the air.
A 3- to 4-year-old youngster rolled upside down with its mouth wide open.
He swam closely alongside the neonate each time he surfaced.
Family and Play

Little Blade and his mate played back and forth.
We wondered, “Where is his mum, Razor?”

After our comment, Nibbles and Razor’s pod surfaced suddenly.
They headed straight for us from the deep blue.
Our babysitting duties ended in a flash.
El Notcho appeared alone near the outskirts.

The atmosphere was strong and full of energy all day.
It felt as if something major was about to happen.
